- You must book a party package to bring in a birthday cake and/or presents. If you have booked a birthday party with us, you may bring a birthday cake and/or ice cream. All other outside food & drink is strictly prohibited inside facility.
- Roller skating parties are very popular. We REQUIRE you write a list of invited guest you will be paying for and leave it at the front door when you arrive for your party. Many times your party guests will make it a family event and why not? The Sk8way is fun for everyone even if you are just watching. Your invited guests may invite parents, siblings, friends or neighbors to your party and we encourage it. However, we do not want you paying for guests you did not invite so we work right off your guest list.
- You are allowed one free non skating parent per child. All other adults pay admission and/or skate rental. This is due to capacity and staffing issues.
- Social Media has also brought a new dimension to roller skating parties in that party hosts create a Facebook events and invite friends with the condition they have to pay for their own entrance fee and skate rental. A guest list is also essential for this type of gathering.
During your party we play roller skating games like the “Limbo” and “Roll the Dice”, we allow song requests and we call the Birthday Star out to the middle of the rink where the whole skating rink participates in singing “Happy Birthday” followed by a Birthday Skate for your party!
There are 2 sessions on Saturday. We close at 6pm and everyone leaves the building including birthday parties We then reopen at 6:15pm and begin the night session which requires admission to be paid again.
